WORKSHOPS

Most people don’t have the time to look at their surroundings - I mean really paying attention to what they’re seeing. The job of the artist is to look deeply, to study things closely, and to try and communicate something of that experience. Learning to paint is learning to see. These workshops focus on painting outdoors with a strong emphasis on developing visual acuity. As artists, what interests us and what are we trying to communicate to the world? The basics of painting, including process, design, color, and composition, are employed to strengthen each artist’s individual voice. The first day of the workshop begins with an introduction and discussion of materials and techniques followed by demos and individual painting. Instructor will provide any necessary maps, hotel recommendations, and more info upon registration.

Accommodations, transportation, food, and art supplies are the responsibility of the student.

Class sizes are kept small in each workshop and are filled on a first come first served basis. For more info and to reserve your spot, click the button under your workshop.

Last minute workshops may be announced on social media first - follow Eric on Instagram updates.
